Migration Model
Today we were doing work on a google drawing about a guest speaker that came in last week and talked to us about his story about
migration, his name was
Donovan Janse. The
push reason for why he left his country of origin was because the safety, low income, and racism in
South Africa. A very difficult
obstacle that he faced during his migration was the death of his father, and having to give up the role of being the leader of the family. The main
pull reason for why Donovan wanted to move to New Zealand was for the safety of his children and their education. There was also better income for jobs here in New Zealand. Right now his son is still in South Africa because Donovan is sorting out the papers for his migration. Here is my
migration model that I did about his Migration story.
