NZ Democracy
In New Zealand, we have a democratic system of government. All New Zealand citizens are allowed to vote, but only if you're at the age of 18 and over. In our government, we have a house of representatives made up of 120 MP's. Every three years we elect a new political party and for a new electorate MP. At the moment the party in the lead of our country is the labour party lead by Jacinda Adern and the opposition, the national party led by Simon Bridges. I think democracy is a good way of choosing our government because we are enabled to vote according to our own interests and what we think is best for our country.
